Welcome to Nana June Studio. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below regarding our handcrafted, made-to-order artwork.

Handmade Craftsmanship

All pieces are individually hand-stitched. Each portrait reflects the maker's artistic interpretation and the natural character of handmade craft. Slight variations, stitch differences, and small imperfections are part of the authenticity of handcrafted work and are not considered defects.

Order Placement & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of order. Work begins shortly after order confirmation, which means changes or cancellations may not be possible once production starts.

Production Time

Typical completion time is 3–8 weeks, depending on:

  • Design complexity
  • Order volume
  • Material availability

This timeline is an estimate, as each piece is made slowly and intentionally by real human effort.

Notes & Special Requests

You may add special preferences or details in the notes section at checkout—such as favorite colors, important small features, sentimental details, or other elements you would like us to consider. We will thoughtfully review and incorporate these notes whenever possible; however, they are not guaranteed requirements. Final design decisions will be made based on feasibility, aesthetic judgment, and stitching quality.

Non-Refundable Policy

Because each piece is unique and created specifically for your order:

  • All sales are final sale
  • Orders are non-refundable
  • Cancellations cannot be accepted once the order is placed

Time, planning, and labor begin immediately, which is why refunds cannot be issued under any circumstance (including timeline changes, preference adjustments, or buyer's remorse).

Design Input & Adjustments

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Clear photos
  • Name spellings
  • Important reference details

Once production starts, major changes or alternate photos may result in additional fees or may not be possible due to the handcrafted workflow.

Shipping & Delivery

Once an order is shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier. We are not liable for delays related to:

  • Postal/carrier services
  • Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
  • Seasonal demand
  • Unexpected transit issues

Tracking information will be provided when applicable.

Returns & Exchanges

Because each piece is custom-made and personalized, returns and exchanges cannot be accepted for any reason.

Artistic Interpretation

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Final artwork is not an identical reproduction of the reference image
  • Each portrait reflects human touch, creative judgment, and stitching limitations
  • Variations in color, proportion, thread placement, or design interpretation are normal and intentional.

Use of Artwork for Display

The final art piece may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to portfolio displays, website content, social media, and promotional materials.

Customer Responsibility

To ensure accuracy and timely completion, customers are responsible for providing:

  • Clear photos
  • Correct spellings
  • Accurate delivery information

Lack of timely replies or incorrect information may lead to delays.
